Praised for her warm, versatile voice and dynamic acting skill, Becca Allen is a mezzo-soprano based in Boston, MA. Her recent engagements include Ottavia in West End Lyric’s production of Il Giuoco del Quadriglio, the Mezzo-Soprano in Hydrogen Jukebox, Carmen (Carmen), Bradamante (Alcina), Meg (Little Women), La Zia Principessa (Suor Angelica), The Narrator/Mysterious Man (Into the Woods), Hucklebee (The Fantasticks), among others.

Last fall, Becca was named an Encouragement Award winner at the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition’s District level, and was a finalist in Boston University's 2024 Soloist Competition. A member of Boston’s acclaimed Church of the Advent Choir, she has performed numerous choral and orchestral works, with highlights such as the Alto soloist in Mozart’s Missa Brevis in F Major, as well as leading a solo cantor service at the Church of the Advent last summer. She has had the privilege to be included in several premieres of new work and recording projects from such composers as Roxanne Winslow and Joan Tower. Becca also recently enjoyed her debut as an Alto soloist for Mozart’s Requiem in D minor with BU’s Chamber Orchestra and Symphonic Chorus.

Becca received her Master of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and is currently pursuing her Performance Diploma at Boston University. In her free time, she enjoys designing cute stickers and Salsa dancing. She can next be seen as Sesto in Boston Opera Institute's spring production of La Clemenza di Tito.
